The U.S. House of Representatives passed S. 3304

Good news! The S.3304 (the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010) is passed by the House of Representatives, now it will go to the President for signing to become law. J

  At around 9:00 p.m. this evening, the U.S. House of Representatives
passed (by voice vote) the Twenty-first Century Communications and
Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (S. 3304) and the technical
corrections bill (S. 3828).

CONGRATULATIONS to all COAT affiliates and advocates! Each of you
played an important role in getting this groundbreaking legislation
introduced and passed.

Please extend congratulations -- and our sincerest thanks -- to
everyone in your organizations and communities. This is a remarkable
accomplishment.

AAD Convention & ARID Conference 2011 Registration

For the first time, AAD and ARID have joined together to host an exciting event for both the Deaf and Interpreting Communities. This convention will take place next summer in down-town Little Rock at the Peabody Hotel.

Planning is underway to make this the most exciting event ever. Convention planners are working hard to have work-shops, and entertainment that are sure to please.
