HI Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind, and Coda communities,
This is your big opportunity to see a fabulous presenter coming up this Saturday, April 11th at 8:00 to 3:00 pm. Molly Wilson is a native signer, professional interpreter, and independent educator from New York. If you have not seen her video, I advise you to watch it (see link below). The morning segment of this "Deaf World Forum" is for members of the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deafblind, and Coda communities to examine the history of oppression and its impact on the "Deaf World," and discuss ways to collaborate to make changes for the better. Then the afternoon session is for Deaf, HH, and DB communities to see some of the similarities and differences between their world and the the "Interpreting World," and discuss ways the two communities can work together for the benefit of everyone.
Please RSVP by contacting me before Thursday as we need to know how many sandwiches to order.
