About ASL EXPO
ASL EXPO, short for American Sign Language Exposition, is an entertainment venue celebrating the language and culture of the deaf. It is a showcase consisting of various craft, community service, and high technology booths and provides an opportunity for members of the deaf and hard of hearing community to gather and learn about exciting new technology in a fun-filled atmosphere.
Once inside the ASL EXPO, check your program for a listing of all training seminars, game shows, Kiddie ASL EXPO, and presentation shows. Also, take time to visit all the booths and let the language and culture of the deaf experience unfold before you. Watch a demonstration of Web development or fine cooking. Pick up the latest gossip from the neighborhood. Thrill to the DARE OR NO DARE games, and then browse the wares at one of several fine craft booths. There's too much to do in a single ASL EXPO!
